- Made with approx. 1/8” (may vary between 2.7-3MM) thick maple, cherry, walnut, sapele, red oak or acrylic. Pick your finish. 


These are laser cut unfinished wooden earring blanks that allow you to finish them as you wish. Perfect for your DIY craft earrings! Paint them - Stain them - Dye them - Burn them - Sublimate them or let them keep their natural wood finish!


Because of the process of cutting wood with a laser, you may notice a slight burnt smell. This is normal and the smell will go away over time. Please be aware: Wood pieces may have a different look than pictures due to the nature of wood and the type of wood you choose.

Care Instructions:


Wood and acrylic:
We cover our wood and acrylic with a paper masking during the laser cutting process. This is to lessen burn or flashing marks while we prepare your order. You can gently scrape the edge of your blanks using your nail or a weeding tool for larger pieces. For smaller more intricate engraved areas, we recommend using gorilla tape. Sometimes the masking may become dislodged during transit to your hands. 



Occasionally, even with masking, your blanks may have slight burn marks. We recommend with WOOD sanding with an ultra fine grit sandpaper to remove any unwanted marks. We also have success with wiping clean with a baby wipe or a vinegar/water solution sprayed onto a fiber free cloth. We recommend cleaning your ACRYLIC blanks before assembling as the laser cutting process leaves a soot residue. To clean, simply wipe the pieces with a damp non-abrasive cloth using water or a baby wipe. Avoid using alcohol or other chemicals on your blanks as it may damage your pieces. 



You can finish your WOOD BLANKS using alcohol markers, acrylic paint, gel pens, wood stain, Resin, cutting board oil or any other craft supply!



GLITTER ACRYLIC will sometimes have rough edges after being cut. Using an ultra fine grit sandpaper, gently sand the edges of your blanks to smooth them out. 


Store your ACRYLIC pieces in a cool dry place. Patterned blanks can often stick to each other if too humid.
